11/04/2017 : April Sale Highlights
Some highlights from our April Maritime Auction
Our April auction was one of our biggest auctions so far, with over 1000 lots meaning there was something for everyone. The star lot was this beautiful marine chronometer by Charles Frodsham, which brought £1800 and in the military section,a Fairbairn Sykes First Pattern commando dagger brought £780 after some fierce bidding.
There were a few sleepers in the auction, including this ebony and boxwood chess set, which sold for £720 and another Jaques ivory chess set which sold for £520.
Another surprise was in store with this Unattributed oil painting romping past its estimate to bring £720.
Our next sale is our May Rock and Pop Auction on 3rd May 2017. We will be consigning items for this sale up to 19th April.
We hope to see you there!
